Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC)

INSTICC, the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control, and Communication, is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing technical and scientific knowledge in the fields of information systems, technologies, control, and communications. Founded in 2003, INSTICC has been actively engaged in numerous initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation within these areas.

The institute has focused on expanding its membership base and sponsoring and organizing conferences, workshops, tutorials, and other scientific events. INSTICC also promotes the mobility of distinguished researchers by inviting them to speak at its conferences. In addition, the organization supports young researchers worldwide by offering grants to help them attend INSTICC events. Furthermore, INSTICC publishes proceedings, books, and journals—often in collaboration with international publishers—and sponsors research projects proposed by universities and R&D institutes in areas related to its core interests.

INSTICC works closely with international associations and companies involved in research and development or supporting the global academic community. Beyond its role in organizing academic events, the institute has developed several information systems leveraging its expertise in software engineering. These systems include database management solutions, web programming, cloud systems, information visualization tools, and project management software.

INSTICC has built an extensive international network of over one hundred thousand researchers involved in its conferences, congresses, and workshops, whether as delegates, authors, reviewers, or invited speakers.
